In this issue, I present the third actionable idea for paying subscribers since launching the paid tier of Value Situations in May.
As many readers will be aware, the energy crisis/supply, commodities and inflation/stagflation have been an overarching theme that I’ve been pre-occupied with of late. Exploring this theme has lead me to a leading energy services business in Europe that is excellently positioned to capitalise on new investment in energy infrastructure in the coming years.
The company in question is a somewhat overlooked post-spin off name that is very well positioned to capitalise on both urgent energy security concerns AND the global energy transition. In addition, as with many of the equities I write about, this company also offers an event-driven/special situation angle that makes it a compelling value situation in my view. As such I believe it offers compelling torque to the wider energy theme while offering idiosyncratic downside protection.
In my view this is a compelling and actionable idea, particularly amid the current energy crisis, and is one subscribers should find very interesting ….
